Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of a Welder without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common welding duties to include welding various metals and alloys using electric, acetylene and/or inert gas shielded welding processes; performing techniques such as pre-heating, bead welding, tack welding, flame cutting; AND making welds that require complete penetration and fusion and where close tolerances must be met. I can interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and work orders to plan and lay out the work; determine the welding techniques and machine setting to be used; AND select the proper material such as the right size and type of electrodes or rods. I can perform welds in a flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead position on various parts of electronic and mechanical equipment. I ensure welds meet specifications, assure proper penetration and are free from defects. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. The work involves standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing. Work may be done in awkward and cramped quarters. May handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions:
Constant exposure to dirt, grease, noise, odors, smoke and fumes with requirement for protective equipment such as:
safety glasses, ear plugs, safety shoes, aprons, gloves, welding helmets, and goggles. Work is usually performed on concrete floors or as required on or in equipment being repaired. Subject to burns and eye injury when welding. Danger from electric shock and falls from scaffolds or ladders, infrared or ultraviolet rays, fumes and gases.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
